For almost a year, the COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged the world — and the United States in particular. Hundreds of thousands of lives have been lost to the virus and millions more have been affected as we waited for a vaccine that could protect us from this devastating disease. Thanks to the tireless efforts of biomedical and infectious disease experts, vaccines are on the way, but many people still have questions about the vaccines, and about COVID-19 in general.

On January 27th, Dr. Carl B. Lauter returned for a follow-up Q&A session with the audience, where he discussed:

  • What we have learned about COVID-19 since March
  • Updated best practices for protecting yourself and your loved ones from coronavirus
  • The role vaccination plays in bringing the pandemic under control
