Telemus Joins Forces with Junior Achievement for Back-to-School Teacher Appreciation Drive

This back-to-school season, Telemus was proud to support Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan in their “We Appreciate Our Teachers” drive. Every year, Junior Achievement organizes this event to gather donations and supplies for teachers who often spend their own money funding their classroom. Supporting teachers has always been an important cause for us at Telemus, and this year we feel honored to work alongside an organization that is empowering educators who go above and beyond for their students.

We spent time collecting common classroom items like pencils, post-it notes, notebooks, and more, which Junior Achievement used to create gift bags for teachers throughout the Detroit area. In all, our donations were enough to create about 15 kits. Our team also came together to make a monetary donation to Junior Achievement in Chicago, which will help support them in their mission to inspire and prepare students for success inside and outside the classroom.

Telemus is committed to giving back to the communities we touch, especially when we can help empower future generations. Our team was particularly inspired by Junior Achievement's mission and the teachers they support. Junior Achievement is a worldwide non-profit providing career readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy education to students, so they can succeed academically and in life.
