Telemus Welcomes New Financial Life Advisor, Trever Helmstead

Southfield-based Telemus, an independent, fee-based firm that offers comprehensive financial advisory, investment management and asset management solutions for high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals and institutional investors, is pleased to welcome Trever Helmstead to our experienced team of financial life advisors. He joined the team in mid-June.

Helmstead, who previously served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Bank of Ann Arbor, brings more than a decade of expertise in banking and fixed income trading to the Telemus team. He also had the chartered financial analyst designation (CFA), a global designation that measures and certifies the aptitude and integrity of financial analysts. Helmstead will assist clients by providing strategy, financial guidance and a holistic planning approach.

Helmstead is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received his Master of Business Administration in finance and a bachelor’s degree in economics. He is a native of Oakland County.
