Telemus Partner Diana Joseph Receives Two Prestigious Awards

    | March 15, 2022

Joseph was honored by the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and received a Five Star Wealth Manager Award for the ninth consecutive year for her outstanding service.

Telemus is proud to announce that Senior Financial Life Manager, Partner Diana Joseph has added two more awards to her impressive dossier. Joseph is the winner of a 2020 Distinguished Service Award from the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. She was also recently recognized with the Five Star Wealth Manager Award for an incredible ninth consecutive year.

Given at the WBAI’s 106th annual reception, held virtually on Sept. 10, the Distinguished Service Award honors current and retired WBAI members who have demonstrated exemplary service to the field of law. The organization cites Joseph’s more than three-decade career managing sophisticated investment strategies, along with her civic work with women’s and Jewish advocacy organizations.  Joseph obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated cum laude.

“We congratulate Diana on her receiving the WBAI Distinguished Service Award as well as being chosen for the 2020 Five Star Wealth Manager Award,” said Gary Ran, Telemus Chairman, CEO and Partner. “Diana is the consummate investment professional, and this well-deserved recognition is an acknowledgement of the years she’s worked honing her craft. We’re proud to call her our Partner.”

Joseph said she was honored to receive the award after helping the WBAI Hooton Fund navigate the financial markets since 2003. The fund is named for the late Cook County Circuit Court Judge and former WBAI President, Mary Heftel Hooton. It’s used to support the WBAI’s office in Chicago.

“Many people contribute and build on the strong heritage of the Women’s Bar,” Joseph said. “This week I have updated my will/trust to bequest $150,000 to the Hooton Fund so that the Women’s Bar continues to have funds to support its physical home and continue its amazing work. I hope every member will consider doing the same. Large or small, every bequest helps.”

Joseph was also recognized with a Five Star Wealth Manager Award for an incredible ninth consecutive year. The award was published in Chicago Magazine and recognizes outstanding service and overall satisfaction

“I am gratified that our client-centric philosophy is appreciated by clients and recognized by peers,” Joseph added. “Telemus has a talented, first-rate team of knowledgeable professionals focused on holistic wealth management, planning, optimization of the client experience, and the provision of well-planned investment outcomes.”

Please join us in congratulating Diana on these outstanding achievements!
