2024: Turnaround For Energy?

    The energy sector in the stock market is facing challenges, with fund managers showing a reluctance towards energy stocks. The sector is witnessing continuous outflows and is predicted to have the largest decline in earnings and revenue among industry groups. Analysts, however, remain optimistic about a potential turnaround. Chief Investment Officer, Matt Dmytryszyn, believes energy is an attractive multiyear allocation and that over time the use of cash flow for debt reduction, stock buybacks and dividend hikes will bring investors back to the space.
