Webinar | How to Spot a Con

    | March 24, 2021

With wealth, also comes unique investment opportunities that aren’t available to the general public. And while these hedge fund, real estate, or private equity opportunities can be enticing, it’s important to realize that hundreds of wealthy Americans each year become victims of investment fraud. To help our clients protect the lives they’ve worked hard to build, Telemus will be hosting a webinar with Samuel C. Damren, a retired Detroit lawyer and prosecutor who has built a career on understanding and combating financial scams.

On this one-hour webinar, you will learn…

    • the history of conmen in the modern, financial landscape
    • how conmen identify their targets
    • how conmen view you, your family, and your wealth
    • the “trips and tricks” used by conmen, and how to avoid these common traps
    • the role your financial advisor can play in vetting investment opportunities
